about

Bonedust continues as a family tradition as identical twins Lacey Coover and Lori Anderson join forces to collaborate on the handcrafted line inspired by their mother's hand-carved antler and bone jewelry. One-of-a-kind and limited edition pieces are created with carefully collected and resourced materials, including vintage chains and charms, recycled metals, salvaged leather, scrap bone and antler. Summer 2011 features lush new elements like scarab wings and citrine pyramids while Fall 2011 brings horse hair, linen, gemstones and more.

Raised in the Wild West, Lacey and Lori draw upon their life experiences, family history and Native American roots to create jewelry that honors the past, celebrates the present and looks to the future. What began seven years ago in Oakland grew quietly in Boulder and is now crafted by Lacey in Brooklyn. The twins combined experience in art, design, production, marketing and business informs their collaboration as they focus their wonder twin powers to create and share bonedust jewelry.

Lacey founded bonedust jewelry in 2004 with their late mother, Sandy. As the principal designer and creative force behind bonedust, her fine art background, eye for fashion and love of myth inspires her vision. Lacey currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Lori brings nearly ten years of marketing and business experience to bonedust jewelry. She combines her business prowess with her intuitive nature and passion for design to create spaces and solutions that grow bonedust's vision. Lori loves her family, the beauty and mystery of life and using her marketing powers to do good in the world. A self-proclaimed country mouse, Lori lives in Boulder, Colorado with her son Max.
